1 Timothy

As Paul transitions to the second part of the letter, he begins instructing Timothy on how to order the life of the church. As he guides him regarding the church’s worship, gender roles, and leadership, the first thing he urges the Ephesian church to do is pray.

Big Idea: The church’s gospel witness begins in prayer and is sustained by God’s desire to save all through one Mediator.
