In Genesis 8-9, we encounter the first explicitly stated covenant in the Bible, the covenant God establishes with Noah after the flood. The world has been judged, and humanity has been reduced to a single family. What happens next? Will God simply destroy the world again when mankind returns to its sinful ways?
Big Idea: God's covenant with Noah sustains our world, affirms human value, and secures our future.
