We hope you’re looking forward to our corporate gathering tomorrow morning. As always, we will worship the Lord through prayer, song, preaching, and giving. GraceHill Kids Sunday School is kicking off tomorrow, so parents, please check in your children at the station in the lobby. Before the kids are dismissed, we will have a special Back to School Prayer for all the children, parents, and teachers.
Tomorrow, we will begin a new sermon series in Romans 8: No Condemnation; No Separation. We will walk through the most glorious chapter in the most significant letter in the Bible and learn about the true essence of Christianity – salvation by grace through faith, and the implications of this salvation in the lives of believers. Paul’s primary focus in this chapter was not to describe the process of becoming a Christian but what it means to live as a Christian – How does faith in Jesus make a difference in our daily lives? What does a Spirit-filled life look like? We hope you will join us as we walk verse-by-verse through this chapter for the next several weeks.
Also, we will have a book giveaway after the service! The book is Praying the Bible, by Donald Whitney. We have 50 copies available, so please pick one up at the table in the lobby if you’re going to read it. We hope the Lord encourages and strengthens your prayer life through this resource.
Our final Sunday Night @ the Park will be tomorrow, at 6 pm, @ Gibbons Community Park. We’ve had a hot Summer but it should be a cool 93 tomorrow. Join the church for fellowship and recreation.
Life Groups are kicking off next week! The best way to get connected at GraceHill Church is by joining one of the groups. Each group meets 2-3 times a month, across the Sacramento area to share food and fellowship around our common life and purpose in Christ. This Fall, we’re adding another group in the South Sacramento area, which Paul Kucherenko will lead with his wife.
