Marriage is one of God’s good gifts, but it is also one of the primary relationships through which He exposes our hearts, teaches us to love, and shapes us to become more like Christ. No marriage is perfect, because every marriage brings two sinners together. Yet God has not left us without grace or wisdom. In His Word, He gives us a clear vision for marriage and shows us how the gospel transforms the way husbands and wives walk together through life. In this GraceHill Equip class, we will consider what God says about marriage and seek to apply His truth to this sacred relationship.

This class is for anyone who wants to think biblically about marriage and pursue a marriage that pleases the Lord. It is for singles who are praying for and pursuing marriage, for those who are currently married, for couples who want to strengthen and enrich their relationship, and for those whose marriages may be facing difficulty. It is also for those who desire to model a healthy, grace-filled marriage that reflects Christ and encourages others.
This class aims to help us understand the biblical foundation for marriage, the roles God has given husbands and wives, and how the gospel shapes the everyday realities of married life, such as communication, conflict, intimacy, finances, parenting, and service in the church. Our desire is that this class would not simply give us more information about marriage, but help us love one another well and build marriages that honor Christ and display His grace.
