Over the past couple of months, the owners of our church building have been in negotiations to sell it. Earlier this week, we have been notified that the sale had gone through. Here’s what it means for us going forward:
Our lease runs through February 2023 and will not be impacted in any way. According to the new management company, the new owner wants to keep all the tenants in the building, which is good news. We’ve called this building our home for the past 1.5 years, and we hope to stay here longer. We will begin the new lease negotiation next month. We ask you to pray for this process - for the Lord to grace us as we establish a relationship with the new owners/management and for us to get an affordable lease. As much as we would like to stay here, pray that we would be perceptive to the Lord’s leading, perhaps He has prepared something else for us. We will keep you updated as this process moves forward.
Our kids’ ministry Summer Break is coming to an end! The first day of Sunday School is September 11. We will have a volunteer launch meeting on Sunday, September 4, following the service. We ask all those serving in this ministry this year to be at this important meeting. All who have signed up to serve will receive an email from Albina Taran with more information. If you would like to sign up to serve, you can do so here.
This Sunday, per usual, we’ll gather with God’s people for worship and fellowship! Please come early (9:30 am) to get coffee and bagel and be ready to worship at 10 am. Pastor Mike will return to 2 Samuel 7 to conclude this chapter. Please pray for the clarity and power of preaching so that the hearing of God’s Word would transform our hearts.
